LEAVING ON A JET PLANE

So it’s time to go back to my second Home The Mother Ann Home in the slums of Kampala Africa, lots to do over the Christmas period… hoping to make lots of children smile this Christmas… most of these children in the slums have never woken up to a present on Christmas Day, maybe this year we can make this happen for some of the children …. I will update you daily ….. but in the meantime I’m leaving on a jet plane ….. love and blessings Mother Ann x

KASTON

We welcomed Kaston to The Mother Ann Home for abandoned children not long back

she is 5 years old and she was born deep in the village to very poor parents sadly the father left them and the mother can’t take care of her, she has been fed by any one who can help in the village that could give her a meal when possible. She was very very sad and malnourished and her stomach was very swollen ( I suspect worms ) she is very insecure which is understandable. word has got to me for help and as usual my heart has gone out to her. She is now staying in The new Mother Ann Home with Hasifah who is 3 years who has been neglected and not wanted. The Mother Ann Foundation is taking them both under our wings. Now look at her. With donations from Leanne we have been able to buy her a new blanket ( never owned a blanket before) and a new dress Donations truly change and save lives Thank you Leanne for your donation you are a true star little Kaston has started to smile . Thank you thank you thankyou Klaudia. … with your donation we were able to buy this little 3 year old boy Simoni bread and jam and his first new snuggly warm blanket. We were able to donate a blanket earlier in the year for his mummy, It gets cold at night in the slums of Uganda. Now he will be snug and warm. Simoni lives in this rubbish dump ( yes it really is a rubbish dump ) you need to see how truly horrendous it is , I truly struggled to believe it until I see it with my own eyes , but his mother has done the best she can to make it a little place to rest their heads … they were so excited to have received this donation. Smiling from ear to ear . They only have each other. No family… but doing the best they can 😒
